Inflatable Party Rental Safety Reminders

Although we’ve already touched base and confirmed your event, we wanted to provide you with some additional information and pre-party reminders. Should you need to add anything to your party rental order, make any changes, or simply have a questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to making this the best party ever!

Pre-Party Reminders

If you haven’t already, please do the following:

1. Review the Safe Inflatable Operations in the video. Anyone that will be monitoring the inflatable rental equipment should do so as well. Our delivery team will provide verbal instructions, but the provided video is a great tool for understanding the essentials.

2. Review and sign your Rental Contract located in your receipt. This must be signed prior to delivery

3. Ensure that there is a clear path at least 42″ wide from the street all the way to your set up area for normal-sized bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides and games. Some of our larger units and rides require a 4′-5′ path so please contact us if you’re unsure. If you have stairs, tiered or sloped backyard please call our office to discuss safe setup options. These conditions may result in our inability to set-up the equipment. 

We also need to know if you have proper approval if the set-up is in a public location. Also, Inflatable units require adequate power within 75 feet of the unit. Each piece of equipment should be powered on separate circuits. Generators are available for an additional charge, but must be reserved in advance. And if you rented a water slide inflatable or water ride, an outdoor water spigot will need to be within 50 feet. If the spigot is beyond 50 feet, water pressure may be too low for the unit and it may not work properly.

4. Clear the set up area of any debris, rocks, sharp objects, and/or pet droppings prior to our arrival. Jumptastic is not responsible for damage to underground irrigation, cabling and/or utilities. Jumptastic is not responsible for any damage caused by the reasonable requirements for proper set-up and removal of rides and equipment. Renters are recommended to identify and communicate potential complications associated with the delivery, set-up and securing of inflatables and equipment including underground utilities and irrigation systems. Jumptastic highly recommends calling for a utility locate in advance of your event. For information regarding utility locates, dial 811.

Day of Party Reminders

 

1. Per company policy, a person 18 years or older with a valid state-issued identification is required to be present at the time of delivery to review safety rules, and provide payment if not already provided. We accept Cash (exact only), Business Check (with prior approval) or most major Credit Cards. In addition to valid identification, Jumptastic may require the presence of the actual credit card used for payment for security purposes. When paying with cash we ask for exact change as our drivers do not carry change with them.

2. For the safety of you, the equipment, and our personnel, Jumptastic, Inc. may not setup equipment due to weather or site conditions which jeopardize the safe operation of the inflatable rides and/or equipment. If possible, Jumptastic, Inc. recommends that you reserve a suitable alternate indoor location for your event such as a church, gym or community center. Refunds/Rainchecks, if warranted, will be issued according to Company Policy.

3. Your driver will call you prior to arrival. Unless otherwise specified, we require at least a 2 hour window for delivery in order to properly and safely complete the setup. Although setup time will not generally take this long, the delivery window allows for us to take traffic, other deliveries, and some unforeseen challenges. Any additional time in which you have your rental due to our delivery window requirements, will not result in additional charges to you.

4. After your party ends, we will do our best to arrive on time to pick your rental up. However, there are circumstances in which we have multiple parties ending at the same time, and we cannot be at all of the locations at the same time. Due to this, you may use your rental items until we arrive for pickup (you will not be charged for this additional time). If you have a specific time in which we must be there for pickup, please communicate this with us so that we can make your pickup our first priority.
